Privacy policy.
This policy explains how ATMK Services Ltd (trading as ATMK Logistics) collects, uses and stores personal data when you visit atmklogistics.com or apply through this site. We are committed to handling your data lawfully under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
ATMK Services Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12279735). Our registered address is 7 Fieldfare Crescent, Exmouth, Devon EX8 5FQ. We operate from our depot at Werstan Road, Clyst Honiton, Exeter EX5 2GB.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected] or on 07873 611 120.
2. What we collect and why
When you submit the application form, we collect:
| Data | Why we need it | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your name | To address you when we call | Legitimate interests (recruitment) / steps to enter into a contract at your request |
| Postcode | To check you live within commuting distance of our Exeter depot | Legitimate interests / pre-contract |
| Phone number | To call or text you about the role | Legitimate interests / pre-contract |
| Days available | To match you to a route rota | Legitimate interests / pre-contract |
| Notes you provide (optional) | Any context you choose to share — e.g. prior driving experience, best time to call | Consent (you choose what to write) |
We do not collect special category data through this site. Please do not submit data about your health, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or other special category information through the form — if we need any of that later (for example, accessibility adjustments at interview), we will ask you separately.
If you call us instead of using the form, we will note your name and number to call you back — same lawful basis.
3. Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising tracker. The site may set a small number of strictly-necessary cookies needed to keep the page working — these do not identify you and do not require your consent under UK law.
If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and (where required) ask for your consent first.
4. Who we share your data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and our recruitment process. These are data processors acting on our written instructions:
- Web3Forms (Web3Forms Inc., USA) — receives your form submission and forwards it to our office mailbox. Web3Forms processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK government for transfers outside the UK. Web3Forms privacy policy.
- Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd) — our office email and document storage. Applications you send sit in our inbox under standard Google Workspace terms.
- Our website host — keeps server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) for security and uptime monitoring. Logs are retained for 30 days.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing purposes. We may share data with Amazon (the delivery network we operate within) and our insurer if and when you progress to onboarding — at that stage we will give you a separate, fuller employment-style privacy notice.
5. How long we keep your data
- If you apply but are not hired: we keep your application for 12 months, then delete it. We may contact you within that window if a relevant role opens up. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
- If you are hired: we keep recruitment data alongside your contractor record for as long as you are working with us, then for 6 years after the working relationship ends, in line with HMRC and employment-claim limitation periods.
- Web server logs: 30 days.
6. Where your data is held
Most of your data sits on UK or EEA-based servers (Google Workspace). The form submission service (Web3Forms) is in the United States; transfers to the US are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures as required by the UK GDPR.
7. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a question is sorted out.
- Portability — get your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time (this won't affect lawful processing already done).
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one calendar month.
8. Complaints
We hope you'll come to us first if you have a concern, but you also have the right to complain to the UK regulator:
Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF
Helpline: 0303 123 1113 — ico.org.uk
9. Children
This site and our roles are aimed at adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted data through our form, please email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Routine clarifications won't be flagged.
